We’re renaming ‘products’ to ‘apps’

Atlassian 'products’ are now ‘apps’. You may see both terms used across our documentation as we roll out this terminology change. Here’s why we’re making this change

Manage your email and notification preferences

Atlassian will send emails and notifications about product/ app updates, recent activity, and changes to your access. We will also send you tips to help you get onboarded, event invitations, and more.

Marketing emails and invitations

To opt-in or out of marketing emails and invitations:

  1. Select your avatar in the navigation.

  2. Select Account settings > Email.

  3. Select the link, email preferences center.

  4. Select the emails you want to subscribe to, and deselect those you want to stop receiving. You can also select unsubscribe all to stop receiving these emails.

If you select Unsubscribe all, keep in mind that you’ll stop receiving invitations. This includes emails about workspaces or projects that are shared with you. You may be invited to a product/app and not receive an email to access it.

To continue receiving invites, re-subscribe to invitations under Product Surveys and Invitations in the email preference center. Invited users contribute to an organization’s user count, even if they don’t receive the invitation.

App activity emails

To opt-in or out of product/app feature notifications (for example, changes to your ‘watched pages’ on Confluence):

  1. Select your avatar in the navigation.

  2. Select Account settings > Email.

  3. Select the link: product settings.

  4. Select the instance you want to update your notification settings for.

  5. Within each instance, navigate to the notification or email settings to update your preferences. The navigation will vary for each product.
