Create swimlanes for your board
A swimlane is a horizontal grouping of work items on a board. You can use swimlanes to help you categorize work items based on request types or assignees.
You must be a Jira admin, project admin or board admin to create swimlanes.
From your board select More actions (), then Configure board.
Select Swimlanes in the settings menu.
From the Select method dropdown list, select your desired method.
If you select Assignee, swimlanes will be created based on the people assigned to work items. If you select Request type, swimlanes will be created based on the request types of the work items on your board.
