Duplicate a request type

You can duplicate request types within a project. You must be a project administrator to do this.

To duplicate a request type:

  1. From your service project, select Project settings, then Request management, then Request types.

  2. Select More (•••) next to the request type you want to duplicate.

  3. Select Duplicate.

  4. Add a name, description and icon for your new request type.

  5. Select Next.

  6. Select a portal group for your new request type.

  7. Select Create.

Once created, your new request type will have the same configuration as the original request type. However, it does not copy any associated forms, and any JQL set to the Request Type level will need to be updated.
