Turn off the virtual service agent
The virtual service agent isn’t available in the Atlassian Government environment.
If you no longer want to use the virtual service agent, you can turn it off in all of your customer-facing channels at once. Find out how to turn the virtual service agent off in specific customer channels.
To turn off the virtual service agent in your portal or Microsoft Teams, you need to turn it off in all of your customer-facing channels.
You need to be a project admin to turn off the virtual service agent.
Turn off the virtual service agent in all of your customer-facing channels
Next to your project’s name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Project settings.
Select Channels & self service, then Virtual service agent.
Select Manage in Studio.
If Atlassian Intelligence answers (AI answers) is on:
Select Knowledge, then Settings.
Select Deactivate AI answers. This will deactivate AI answers in all of your connected channels.
If you have any active intents:
Select Intents.
Set the status of all of your intents to Inactive. This will deactivate all of your intents in all of your connected channels. Find out how to change the status of an intent.
What happens to your data when you turn off the virtual service agent
If you decide you no longer want to use the virtual service agent, your organization admin can turn it off, but your data will be retained until you delete your Jira Service Management project. Within 5 business days of deleting your Jira Service Management project, we’ll remove your trained machine learning model and training data set, but we may retain common customer questions derived from your data.
