View the email processing and connectivity logs

If you’ve set up your Jira Service Management service project to receive requests from an email address, you may want to periodically check to make sure that your connection is active and that emails are being processed as expected. Read more about the email processing and connectivity logs.

You need to be a project admin to view the email logs.

View the processing log

  1. Select Channels & self service, then Email.

  2. Under the account you want to see the processing log for, select View logs.

  3. Select Processing log.

    • To find specific messages, search by email address, subject line, or work item key, or filter by status and date range.

    • To download a message as an EML file, select More (), then select Download raw email message.

View the connectivity log

  1. Select Channels & self service, then Email.

  2. Under the custom email account you want to see the connectivity log for, select View logs.

  3. Select Connectivity log.
