Manage your bill for extra objects

Your plan includes an object allowance at no extra cost. You're only charged when you go above it, and you can see and control that amount at any time.

What you're charged for

You're billed on the number of objects above your included allowance. Objects within your allowance are never charged.

Your included allowance by plan

Your allowance depends on your plan. For the full list of plans and the objects each one includes, see What's in Assets for Cloud?.

If you hold more than one eligible subscription, your allowances combine, and you're charged only on objects above that combined total rather than on each subscription separately. For example, if you have Jira Service Management Premium (50,000 objects) and Jira Standard (1,000 objects), your combined allowance is 51,000 objects.

How the charge is calculated

Objects above your allowance are charged based on your account’s billing model and pricing plan. There are two ways to pay for extra capacity:

• Prepaid object packs are purchased upfront in set increments, with volume discounts on larger packs.

• Postpaid charges you based on the actual number of objects used above your allowance during each billing cycle.

Your exact rates, pricing tiers, and available capacity options depend on your plan and billing agreement. To view the rates and capacity options for your organisation, check your billing details in Atlassian Administration, or speak to your subscription admin.

See your current bill and usage

You can see your current object usage in Atlassian Administration, under Insights, then Platform usage. To understand how the count is worked out, see Assets usage and how it works.

Buy more capacity

You add capacity from Atlassian Administration, under Platform usage, by enabling an extra usage pack or buying an object pack. This applies whether you're on Jira, Jira Service Management, Service Collection, or Teamwork Collection.

If you've already chosen to keep extra usage off, that choice is kept - enabling capacity is always something you do deliberately.
