Remove individual work items from your plan

By default, your plan contains all work items from the projects in your plan scope. Along with using rules to remove work items, users can remove individual work items using Bulk actions menu on your timeline. Edit multiple work items at once

Work that’s been removed this way can be re-added by plan admins from the Work in your plan page. To view and re-add these work items to your plan:

  1. Next to your plan’s name in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Plan settings.

  2. Go to the Work in your plan page, then select the Removed work items tab.

  3. Select the work you want to re-add, then select Save.

Can’t find a work item in your plan?

If you can’t find a work item in your plan, you can search for it using the search box on the Work in your plan page.

Enter the missing work item’s entire key to see if it’s:

  • in your plan scope

  • removed by a rule or user or

  • included in your plan but hidden by a timeline filter

This search requires the full work item key. Partial matches won’t work.
