Jira Cloud と Gmail を連携する

The Jira Cloud for Gmail app helps you manage Jira work items without leaving Gmail. Effortlessly create work items from emails, preview Jira links you paste into an email, view detailed information on hyperlinked work items, and edit or comment on them - all within your inbox. These features will help you transform email conversations into actionable tasks without context switching between apps.

  *Rovo will need to be enabled for Jira sites and spaces for users to have access to this feature. Users should be mindful when sharing sensitive data or information with the app when using generative AI to create work item summary and description fields.

Jira Cloud for Gmail アプリを使用するには、以下が必要です。

• The Jira Cloud for Gmail app installed from the Google Workspace Marketplace

*Note to admins: Atlassian permits users to link their personal email accounts to the Atlassian platform.

Jira Cloud for Gmail アプリをインストールする

• ブラウザで Gmail を開き、右側のサイド パネルで + アイコンを選択します。

• Google Workspace Marketplace の検索バーに「Atlassian」と入力します。

• Find the Atlassian app, select Install and follow the permission prompts.

• インストール後、任意のメールを開いて、サイドバーのアトラシアン アイコンを選択します。

• Atlassian アカウントでサインインして Gmail を Jira サイトに接続します。

Link previews need additional permissions. If you installed the app before link previews were available, you'll be asked to review and accept the new permissions before previews start working.

Preview Jira links in an email

When you paste a link to a Jira work item into an email you're writing, the app turns it into a preview card. Your recipients see the card too, so they can tell what the work item is without leaving their inbox.

Preview cards appear at the bottom of the email body and stack vertically, like attachments. In a reply, new cards appear above the quoted text.

You choose how much detail each card shows. Compact is the default.

From a preview card you can:

• Select View details, or select anywhere on the card, to open the work item in the app side panel.

• Select the open in new icon or Open in Jira to open the work item in Jira in a new browser tab.

If you don't have the app installed, selecting a preview card brings you to this page so you can install it.

Link previews aren't available in the Gmail mobile apps yet.

Choose how link previews appear

• Open Gmail in your browser and select the Atlassian icon in the right vertical sidebar.

• Select Preview settings at the bottom of the app side panel. You can also select the three dot menu at the top right of the panel, then select Settings.

• Under Link previews, select Compact, Detailed, or Off.

Your choice is saved for you and applies the next time you paste a Jira link. It doesn't change previews that are already in a draft or in an email you've sent.

You can also turn AI summaries off from this settings page.

メールから作業項目を作成する

• Gmail の受信トレイでメールを開きます。

• 右側の縦型サイドバーで アトラシアン アイコンを選択します。

• アプリのサイド パネルで [作成] を選択します。

• [Use email body as description (メール本文を説明として使用する)] を選択すると、メールの件名が作業項目の要約として、メール本文の内容が説明として含まれます

• または、[Use AI to generate description (AI を使って説明を生成する)] を選択して、生成 AI を使用してメールの内容に基づいて作業項目の要約フィールドと説明フィールドを作成します。

• Edit and review the work item fields then select Create in the pop-up window.

Work items created using the app will be automatically attached to the source email. This means the app will detect and display any work items attached to an email in the app panel.

Gmail で作業項目を編集またはコメントする

• Gmail の受信トレイでメールを開きます。

• 既存の作業項目を見つけるには、アプリのサイド パネルで [検索] を選択します。

• Jira 作業項目のリンクを入力フィールドに貼り付けて、[検索] を選択します。

• 作業項目がアプリのサイド パネルに表示されます。

• ポップアップ ウィンドウで作業項目を更新してコメントするには、[編集] を選択します。

• ハイパーリンクされた作業項目は、アプリのサイド パネルに自動的に表示されます。作業項目を選択し、ステップ 5 に従って編集します。

Read an AI summary of a work item

When you open a work item in the app side panel, the app generates a short AI summary at the top. Use it to catch up on where the work item stands without reading every field, comment, and description.

• Open a work item in the app side panel, either by selecting a preview card or by selecting a work item linked to the email.

• Read the summary at the top of the panel. Select Show more to see the full summary.

• Select Edit to update or comment on the work item.

AI summaries can be inaccurate or incomplete. Check the work item details before you act on a summary.

To turn AI summaries off, select Preview settings at the bottom of the app side panel.

既存の作業項目にメールを添付する

• Gmail の受信トレイでメールを開きます。

• 既存の作業項目を見つけるには、アプリのサイド パネルで [検索] を選択します。

• Jira 作業項目のリンクを入力フィールドに貼り付けて、[検索] を選択します。

• 作業項目がアプリのサイド パネルに表示されます。

• [Attach email (メールを添付する)] を選択します。

• Select Attach to include the email content as a comment to the work item. The comment field can't be edited.

Jira Cloud for Gmail アプリをアンインストールする

• ブラウザで Gmail を開き、右側のサイド パネルで + アイコンを選択します。

• Google Workspace Marketplace の検索バーに「Atlassian」と入力します。

• Find the Atlassian app and select Uninstall to remove the app.
