Add users to space roles in your space
When your Jira admin configures your space, they can create space roles, then assign permissions to it. As a Space admin, you can then add users to these roles and grant them limited capabilities within your space. More about space roles
You must be a Space admin to perform these steps.
To add users to a space role:
Next to the name of your space in the sidebar, select More actions (•••), then Space settings.
Select People, then Add people.
Select Add people, then add who you want to have this role in your space
Select Add to save.
This user ou can use the same process to add users or groups to the Administrators role. If you'd like to give users restricted access to your space (so they can only view work items they're assigned to, for example), you can ask your administrator to create a new space role.
