Create a custom space template
Custom space templates are an exclusive Enterprise plan feature
Custom space templates let Jira admins save time by reusing settings from existing spaces, so every new space starts with the right configuration.
Create a template from any space to share its workflows, boards, navigation, and shortcuts with others across your site.
To create a custom space template:
Start in the space you want to reuse.
Next to your space's name in the header or the sidebar, select More actions (), then Save as space template.
Enter a name and description for your custom template. These details appear in the space templates screen, and help your teams know when to use this template.
Select the template icon if you’d like to upload a custom icon for your template.
Use the rich text editor in the Template overview section to add details about what you can do with the template and why it works, then select Next.
In the next screen, select the users or groups you want to allow to create spaces from this template.
For company-managed spaces, use the checkboxes to choose whether new spaces created with this template should copy workflows and screens from the source space.
Select Save.
Once your template is saved, return to the source space and select More actions () to edit the template name or description. You can also delete the template from the edit screen.
